Background:

I am a Master’s student in Data Science at TU Braunschweig, currently conducting my thesis at the Institute of Data Science in Biomedicine. My research focuses on Bayesian network structure learning and inference using Federated Learning, which aims at preserving data privacy while maintaining high utility. I am developing a user-friendly FeatureCloud application to support multi-class classification and time-series analysis using static and dynamic Bayesian networks respectively. In a nutshell, my goal is to bridge the gap between biomedical research and machine learning by addressing privacy concerns and overcoming algorithmic limitations.

Interests:

  • Federated Learning
  • Privacy Enhancing Technologies
  • Computer Vision
  • Bayesian networks inference

Thesis:

  • Prediction of Chronic Kidney Disease using Bayesian Networks through Federated Learning
